Admission Process


Walk in admission :

Students may walk in to Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Campus at Pimpri,Pune Maharastra. with the duly filled Application Form, Fees and all other required documents(notarized/attested), as specified. Student gets the confirmation of admission after satisfying all documents according to the eligibility criteria.

Postal Admission :

Students may send by post duly filled Application Forms along with Fee with the required documents. These documents will be scrutinized for eligibility. If the eligibility criteria and the documents required are found satisfactory, as per admission policy, the receipt of admission confirmation along with the study material will be sent to the students.

Documents required :
  • 1. Passing Certificate of the all qualifying exam (HSC,SSC and Bachelor's/Post graduate /Master's degree as the case may be).
  • 2. Statement of Marks at the qualifying examination.
  • 3. Migration Certificate (only for candidates passing Bachelor's /Master's degree from other universities).

Fees Payment and Refund Rules


The fees are to be paid by a Demand Draft / pay order of Rs 600/- drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune," drawn on any Nationalized Bank, payable at Pune. The tuition fees are to be paid by a Demand Draft / pay order drawn in favour of "The Director, Institute of Distance Learning, Pune, " drawn on any Nationalized Bank, payable at Pune.The Exam fees are to be paid by a Demand Draft / pay order of Rs 1000/- drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune," drawn on any Nationalized Bank, payable at Pune.

Refund of the annual fee in such case shall be done as per the following chart:

Period from the date of counseling and on-the-spot Provisional Admission Percentage of deduction of fees
Within 15 calendar days 15% of the Annual Fee
After 15 calendar days No Refund

The payment of tuition fees apart, the students shall be required to incur their own expenses in connection with project work, field visits, dissertation, postage for sending study assignments etc.

The students will have to pay the Examination Fees as per schedule to be declared by the University over and above tuition and other fees. The said fee is to be sent directly through Bank Draft drawn in the name of "The Director, Institute of Distance Learning, Pune"

The students are advised to keep a regular contact with the "The Director, Institute of Distance Learning, Pune " for changes if any in the syllabus; dates of examinations etc. so as to avoid any inconvenience to them information above.
